7. Invitations, Thanks You Cards and Souvenir Items. You can decide on the design, the wordings, the colors, and of course, the invitees.
 
8. The Wedding Cake. Find a good wedding cake that matches your wedding motif. It does not have to be the biggest one. Some guests might want to skip desert.
 
9. Flowers and Decorations. Pick colors that match your motif.
 
10. The wedding reception. Decide on the caterer, the menu and the beverages that will be served in the reception. You can also try to have food tasting first to make sure you are also giving the best to your guests. Decide for the entertainment on the reception. You can hire a band and a good wedding entertainer to ensure the reception is fun and memorable.
 
11. Photography and Videography. Check samples so you will get high quality results, as this can also be expensive.
 
12. Other needs like transportation and other miscellaneous items that are also important to consider when you are planning your own wedding.
